Founder & Legal Technology Strategist
Shadouh Lopez
I founded ImmigTech in 2021 after working inside immigration law firms and on the software side of immigration case management. I’d seen how often a technology decision looks straightforward in a demo and gets complicated when attorneys and paralegals have to use it under a deadline.
Why ImmigTech
I built ImmigTech to help firms bring structure to their operations and make technology decisions with confidence. The purpose is practical. Give people clearer processes, reliable information, and tools that support the work they need to do.
Experience on both sides of the software
My background spans law firm operations, technology support, and case management software. Inside firms, I worked with attorneys and staff on day-to-day operations, training, reporting, and technology rollouts. On the software side, I tested features, identified gaps in case workflows, and translated what users needed into requirements technical teams could act on.
How I work with firms
I start by asking how the work gets done today and where people lose time. That might lead to reviewing overlapping software, investigating a report that doesn’t match the case records, or helping a firm test a replacement system before it moves its data.
I work directly with attorneys and staff and alongside the firm’s IT team. When a firm is considering an AI tool, I help it test the tool against real workflows and ask how the vendor handles client data. When the firm is ready to roll out a change, I help document the process, train staff, and troubleshoot the issues that come up in daily use.

Outside of work
My interest in technology carries into everyday life. I enjoy exploring how AI and smart home tools can make daily routines easier and give us more time for the things we love. I’m also the founder of D-Town AI Studio, where I’m developing practical ways to help everyday people, creators, and small businesses use AI with confidence.
I’m a writer, a traveler, and a proud BTS ARMY. I’m the author of The Purple Whisper, and I share my writing, concert memories, travels, and creative projects through The Purple Vault.
I founded ImmigTech in New York and spent much of my career in Los Angeles. Today, I’m based in Cleveland and work remotely with clients around the world. And since I love winter, Cleveland feels like a good fit.
